Writing a usermacro with scaffolding commands ?
Hi,
as we need an input field for links and normal text-data field doesn't support changing links, i'd like to know if it's possible writing a user macro beeing able to do that.
This user macro would then reference text-data commands and could only be used for inserting links.

Inappropriate?Hi Christian,
This should be possible, there is an example written for this kind of scenario in the Confluence Extensions space on the Atlassian website, please take a look here: http://confluence.atlassian.com/displ... in specific, refer to the Scaffolding + Reporting + Visibility = User Macro section of the guide.
This should create an editable link on your Confluence page.

Inappropriate?Hi,
i think i was a little bit unclear. I was speaking of the problem that if someone changes the title of a page the link gets corrupted.
So i need a solution which changes the link automatically within the text-data field.

Inappropriate?Hi Christian,
I think what you want here is a new macro that lets you select a page using a text field, rather than a drop-down via {content-options}. It would store the link via the page ID rather than the page name, so that when the page change name or space, it would still be valid. It's probably worth creating a feature request, although it's possible there is already one out there similar. It's tickling my memory banks... -
Inappropriate?Hi David,
that's exactly that i tried to explain :)
Such a field would help us, till the above mentioned bug is fixed.
I think creating such a field is easier than fixing the above bug, isn't it ?
Btw. i think this is the related bug

at least it is related
