The CustomWare team was great building and supporting vxVistA.org development

When my company decided to release as Open Source a Comprehensive Hospital Information System called vxVistA I was assigned as the conceptual designer, developer and project manager of the environment (www.vxvista.org) that will be supporting that effort. The first step was to do a research on collaboration tools, I was lucky, I found Confluence and the Atlassian suite of products and then I found the great team that was going to help me during the development of the site.

I know, it was not easy at the beginning due that the whole Confluence concept was new for me, but they did a phenomenal “educational” job. They are very good professionals, a great team. Ellen, David, Bo, Alwyn, Andre and CustomWare team. Thanks! I hope vxVistA.org will reflect your efforts and the quality of your work and plugins. And be ready.... We will continue with the other tools increasing the power of the collaboration environment that will improve the quality of patient care. Our community of users and developers are waiting for us. vxVistA is more than an Open source EHR.
