Report Output setup question
Can you explain what the
error means and how to go about fixing it? I saw it in the examples of one website ( https://confluence.uhi.ac.uk/confluen... ), as well as in my personal testing when I added in some filters.
Also, another hopefully simple question, is it possible to hide a report-block when the page is being edited, but display it when the page or template are being previewed or the published page is being viewed? I tried different setups but none provided that functionality, and I'm not really sure when each action (view/edit/template) is really used.. Right now I'm using

EDIT: Regarding question 1, I moved my filter out of the report-body {local-reporter} macro and into the previous {local-reporter} which is outside of the report-body and selects an entire table, and now I get no error.

{hide-if:action=edit}, but the content is hidden when I preview the page (otherwise it shows up). It'd be great if I can get it to display also when the page is being previewed as part of the page edit mode.

It's difficult to say exactly why you are getting the error message without seeing your wiki markup. However, typically it means that you have a report that doesn't have a correctly formatted 'reporter'.
With regards to the hidden report-block, you method is basically the only one available currently. There might be some alternative combinations of hide-if/show-if that will get you what you want, but I'm not sure what they might be currently...
