Help displaying JIRA status in salesforce custom field
I would like to display the JIRA issue status in a Salesforce custom field. Could you please tell me step-by-step what I need to do?
I was able to successfully do this with a custom text field in JIRA to a salesforce text custom field (my updates in JIRA were showing up in Salesforce) However, I never got the JIRA priority to work this way.

What I suggest you do is create a standard text field in SFDC.
Create a mapping between this field and your JIRA Status field.
Remember to add in the "SFCaseUpdateListener" - http://www.customware.net/repository/...
Please note this only works with the Salesforce.com Case or Salesforce.com Case (with Case Number) custom fields.
Synchronization will not work with the Salesforce.com Multiple Case or Salesforce.com Multiple Case (with Case Number).
