Any way to sort the options generated by {content-options} or {attachment-options} in a {list-data} block?
We are using {attachment-options} in {list-data} blocks in a Scaffolding-based template.
For attachments, it displays the options in the order that the attachments were added to the page (can set the page using the content parameter). There does not seem to be any way to change the ordering, e.g. to be alphabetical.
I'm eyeing doing something similar with content-options, and again would like some flexibility in determining the sorting. Again, at least alphabetical would be great.
Let me know if there's any mechanism I'm missing!

Inappropriate? There isn't anything in the current release, but the next version of Scaffolding will allow you to use standard Reporting plugin sort and filter macros to modify the results of {content-options}, {attachment-options} and the other simliar macros.

Inappropriate? That's great. Will be looking forward to this new release then.
A related capability in relation to {content-options} woudl be to allow the display value in the list to be given by a key value, rather than being the title of the content I.e., currently the key is effectively forced to be %content:title%, as far as I can tell. In some cases, it would be preferable to draw the text from, for instance, Scaffolding data on the page. One example is where list should include content names including characters not allowed in page titles, but were entered instead into a Scaffolding data element on the page. -
Yeah, not a bad idea. Could you create a feature request with the details? I'll schedule it for the next release.
